The beaches of Limnes and Platanistos extend on an area east of Marathias and south of Pantanassa.
It is a row of beautiful beaches, other large and other smaller with blue waters. The first beach, moving from Marathias in the east is the long sandy beach of Limnes spanning half a kilometer! Eastward towards Platanistos you can find host of smaller sandy beaches up to the beautiful beach of the small bay created by the cape that hosts Koulentianos Tower.
