Tripartite and five-domed church of the 14th century

Agios Athanasios of Pantanassa is one unique in the region church, with five domes and dedicated to the Virgin Mary, Saint Athanasios and Saint Spyridon.

But has prevailed for the name of the church Agios Athanasios. The church seems to have been built by Irene Paleologos daughter of King Andronikos Paleologos in the 14th century. Located next to the church is the cemetery of the village that owes its name to it.
