The Kalenia are a small settlement of Lachi.
There you will find the beautiful church of Panagia perched on a rock. Next to the church is the old church inwhere you can distinguish the old frescoes. Under the temples and the rock is the spring from which visitors often fill water for their homes. Around scattered trees offer shade and create a little oasis especially during the summer months, where you can enjoy the view to the Neapolis and the plain of Vatika throughout the year. Every year, on the eve of Virgin Mary celebration the club of Lachi organizes festival with plenty of wine and food and live music.
