The new world
The olive oil production center
Agioi Apostoloi is a village of the plain of Vatika area. Its name owes to the church located near the village and north of it.
The village was named also “New World” because inhabitants of smaller villages like Kontrafourianika, Manolarianika and Sklavouna moved to it. At the decade of 60s and after the construction of the main road leading to Neapoli has experienced growth to the size that has today. Agioi Apostoloi counts about 600 inhabitants.
In the local area are many olive oil mills that produce one of the best organoleptic and quality olive oil in the world due to the climate of the Vatika area.
