Elika is the first village that one meets when visits Vatika built on the foothills of a mountain and overlooking the Laconian Gulf.

It owes its name probably to the beautiful nymph Eliki according to one version and the name of a settler from Alika of the Mani who settled in the region after the revolution of 1821, according to another version.

A village with a strong agricultural life but also with many natural beauties invites you to discover it and to visit the coastal settlement of Marathias, the beaches of Limnes and Platanistos.
